Jayadev has 17 years of experience in Education. He was formerly President – Retail Education at Pearson Education Services after the acquisition of Tandem (by Manipal K-12 Education group in 2009 and subsequently by Pearson in 2011). At Tandem, Jayadev was Managing Director of a network of brick-and-mortar Education centres that was the largest regional player. Jayadev started his entrepreneurial journey by founding Tinfo, a software development outfit, in 1999 during college which morphed into Tinfo Mobile, India’s earliest mobile game and apps development studio where he was CEO and co-founder.
Tinfo Mobile’s products won leading industry awards including the Reliance-NASSCOM award for ‘All-Minder’, an app for the visually-impaired, the Abby Gold award in Digital Innovation for the Scorpio mobile advergame, the Reliance award for ‘TeachMe-Hindi’, one of the earliest m-learning apps and the ‘Best Game’ award for Truck Tycoon in the strategy genre at the E3 USA , the world’s largest game expo held annually in Los Angeles. Tinfo Mobile was the first company from India to develop a E3 winner.
At Tandem, Jayadev scaled the business to a network of forty brick-and-mortar centres covering test-prep, technology and skills-related courses. Post acquisition, he oversaw a network of hundred retail and institutional centres with the new Edurite Learning Centre business registering a four-fold growth in two years.
Jayadev was the first entrepreneur from his home state of Kerala to be featured in CNBC’s Young Turks programme. He occasionally blogs on Education at godcap.com. His other interests include green living and supporting vegan initiatives.

Gokul’s career of over 20 years in technology, started with building scalable network management systems for DHL in the San Francisco Bay Area to where he moved after completing his MS in Computer Science from Utah State University, Utah.After returning to India, he served as Country Head of Aventail, a Seattle-based Enterprise Security technology company, that was eventually acquired by SonicWall (Dell). Gokul proceeded to co-found Mapunity, a social technology company focused on solving urban challenges. Mapunity built India’s first real time traffic-monitoring system, the Bangalore Traffic Information System (BTIS).
Gokul is passionate about using technology to bring positive social change and is also the co-founder of Red Compass, a Non Profit that provides guidance and support to underprivileged youth for skill acquisition towards employment.
